interval between treatments?

Hi, my name is Kristi I just had my first laser hair removal treatment of bikini area with weekend. Treatment went fine expects that i felt a bit more pain than i expected but it was quite tolerable. There was a slight redness after the treatment but it subsided in a day. By the way I have a light skin type and dark hair. Skin type 2 and was treated with light sheer laser.
I am completely satisfied with first treatment and was planning about the second i wanted to know what should be the interval between different laser treatment sessions to get maximum results and what would be the result if I go for my session too early or too late?
