I’ve been shaving my bikini area for a while (full brazilian) but I struggle with irritation. Any tips for bikini area hair removal without irritation?

Irritation in bikini area after shaving

Well if you have razor bumps and it hurts after shaving you may be digging in too hard or you may have irritation from chemicals in the stuff your using i suggest and shave upward if neither of those work use this stuff called nair its a hair removel cream like shaving cream but not shaving cream and you use a plastic razor its painless and no razor bumps..

What is the best way to avoid skin irritation (red bumps, ingrown hairs, etc) in the bikini area?

CHo Yung Tea

i try everything from soaking in a bath, to applying shaving cream and delicately stroking against my hairs to applying lotion and baby powder after to keep friction at a minimal and still feel a lot of irritation. thank goodness i don't get as many bumps as i use to but the occasional still pop up and when they do they leave a nasty scar behind.

What is the best way to avoid

What is the best way to avoid skin irritation (red bumps, ingrown hairs, etc) in the bikini area? Do you have tips about a product that can minimize irritation? or perhaps just a technique that can get a close shave w/o the annoying and unsightly bumps? or maybe shaving will result in irritation. Period. What would be better? waxing? hair depilatories?

Use A LOT a shaving cream.

Use A LOT a shaving cream. That works for me. But try bio-oil to get rid of the scars and if shaving is that bad buy an electric razor or one of those electric razor meant for shaving the bikini area.

This sounds a bit strange but

This sounds a bit strange but it works - shave with hair conditioner. It smoothes the skin, opens the hair follicles, and leaves the area soft and bump-free. It truly helps. I've tried many products and it ended up doing the job,

This sounds a bit strange but

Many adults prefer to be individuals and not follow the crowd, but in high school it is very strange to be an individual in a conformist society.

shaving bikini area

You need to use a REALLY new razor blade every time for shaving hair removal in the bikini area or doing a brazilian. Also you might want to try something better for a shaving cream – something specially designed for that sensitive area. Or you could try using a hair conditioner instead of a shaving cream.

shaving and exfoliation

P.S. Also if you're using shaving for hair removal, try very gently exfoliating the area each time you shower, perhaps with a soft facecloth. You’ll notice an improvement after a week or so of doing this.
