shaving bikini area
bunnylove's picture

i read somewhere that if you once shave yourself in the bikini area like i mean a full Brazilian, then you can never go back. is that true? and if i shave down there then would i be able to have laser hair removal at a later date?

Shaving isn't so bad. Wet the bikini area, apply shaving lotion, take the razor and shave the hair above and to the side of the labium mayora. Be careful not to shave too close to the labium minora. I have a diagram in the source column. Good luck!

Try only shaving downward, with the grain so to speak, and not upwards. I get less bumpies that way.

I just shaved my bikini area and I got a few minor cuts. How can I stop the irritation because it feels weird and I don't like it.

It's not true that if you shave and give yourself a Brazilian, that you have to continue with it and there is no going back. growing the hair back will be a bit prickly and itchy for a few days but once that is past then you will be back to normal.

Shaving your bikini area also in no way interferes with you having laser hair removal in that area in the future.
