Threading is an ancient method of hair removal still used in many countries in the Middle East and in Asia. Mostly used for shaping eyebrows and to remove hair from the upper lip and other facial areas.
Method:-
A cotton thread is twisted between the fingers and the thread is rolled over the skin the thread traps hair with it which is pulled to remove the hair from their roots.

Advantages
Cheap, quick, is less painful than plucking. Good for eyebrows and facial hair. Affectivity matches that plucking and effects can last up to two to four weeks. The effects like irritation and skin rashes are less as the top layer of dead skin is not stripped off in the process as compared to depilatories, sugaring and waxing.

Disadvantages
The skin may get a little red and sore producing itching.
Not a popular method of hair removal.
Like other depilatory methods ingrown hair can occur.

Threading

Sounds really fiddly ... I don't fancy trying to do that on my own eyebrows, i guess you would have to have the arms of an octopus! LOL

still i guess if someone is doing it for you and they are an experienced professional maybe it's a good method for facial hair?
