What to do before laser hair removal appointment?

Ok, I have an appointment Friday for some laser hair removal. Am I supposed to shave my legs like normal, or am I supposed to leave some stubble so the laser has something to zap at. I don't want to show up unprepared either way. Thanks for the help!
Before your first laser hair removal appointment you should shave.
That means that it should be smooth. It isn't the hair that the laser zaps - its the pigment of the hair that it detects.
