Laser Hair Removal on my Face?!?

I want to get laser hair removal on my face. Does it work for facial hair and is it safe?
I have had problems for years with fuzz on my face - on my chin and upper lip and a bit on my cheeks.
Has anyone had this done? Is it safe? Does it really work???
