I am naturally blonde but the hairs on my legs are brownish. Anyway I've finally found a laser hair removal clinic that say they can treat my legs, I got turned down the first couple of clinics I tried because they said my hair wasn't dark enough. I'm a bit worried that my hair might grow back worse after I've had the laser treatment. What is other people's experience?

Laser hair removal

Hi blondie,

The good news is that, unlike with some depilation techniques, laser hair removal does not make the hairs grow back stronger. Laser hair removal works by applying a strong but safe laser light to the hair root cells (called hair follicles) under the skin, effectively disabling them. Some follicles will never grow more hairs, while other hair will grow back but will be paler and thinner. So you do not need to worry about laser hair removal making your hair grow back stronger.
