i only shaved two days before my first session and the lady at the laser hair removal clinic said that it was ok and the treatment went ok (it hurt a bit but not as much as i thought it would ) but would it work better next time if I let the hair grow longer? I don't wanna go more than a day or two between shaving as i have to avoid my boyfriend cos i hate it when he feels my stubbly legs! Please help!!!

laser hair removal and shaving

Hi bunnylove,

Good news - it is perfectly OK to shave between laser hair removal sessions. The lasers that are used target the hair root cells, or follicles, that reside under your skin. It is actually fine to shave right before the treatment, and you may have less discomfort that way.

So no need to avoid your boyfriend between laser hair removal sessions!
